At-home charging is as simple as charging your cell phone or computer. Just plug in for a quick and easy way to charge as you go about your day.

With Plug & Charge technology, you can automatically pay for charging by simply plugging in at a participating public charging station, eliminating the need to use smartphones or credit cards (Plug & Charge feature is available at most Electrify America stations). To get started, all you need to do is activate your access to the BlueOval™ Charge Network at Ford.com/ConnectedServices and use the FordPass App to find and activate chargers. After you turn on your Plug & Charge feature in the FordPass App, participating stations will be able to communicate with your electric vehicle and bill you accordingly.
Ford electric vehicle owners receive 250 kWh of complimentary charging through Electrify America. The credit is applied at time of purchase through FordPass Rewards.
First, make sure it is installed by a licensed electrician. Visit Qmerit Charging to find installation services in your area. When you are charging, make sure the charger is flush with the charge port.
The vehicle may be 100% charged while the Intelligent Range displayed is higher or lower than your expectations. Several factors can affect the estimated range that is displayed, including outside temperature, your driving behavior and more. Check out this article for tips on how to maximize your range.
For most Ford electric vehicles, the recommended charge level is 90%. Avoid charging to 100% when you don’t need that range, though 100% charge is recommended for longer trips.
The Ford Connected Charge Station is available to purchase through the Ford Chargers website. Requires installation by a licensed electrician. Visit Qmerit Charging to find installation services in your area.
Make sure you start your vehicle at least once every 15 days. When away, leave it plugged in to allow the 12-volt battery to maintain charge and ensure it always has a minimum charge of 50%.
