2022—2023 Ford Bronco® Sport SUV and F-150® Truck Safety Recall

Electronic key fob for a Ford vehicle

Recall Reference Number: 22C22

Designing our trucks and SUVs requires focusing on the details, which is why Ford issued a recall for some 2022-2023 Bronco Sport SUV and F-150 truck models.

A standard quality inspection found an issue where the parking lamp flickered when on. This can occur when manually selecting the modes “Position Lamp On,” “Headlamp On” or “Automatic Headlamp.” Owners and lessees with affected trucks have already been notified. To see if your Bronco Sport or F-150 is included, enter your VIN here.

If your F-150 truck is included in this recall, a repair is now available for your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to reprogram either the Headlamp Control Module (HCM) or the Body Control Module (BCM), depending on the type of lighting system in your vehicle, free of charge (parts and labor).

We are still working on a repair for the Bronco Sport and will notify you as soon as it is ready.

Keeping drivers and passengers safe is our No. 1 priority. For questions or concerns about safety recall 22C22, please call us at 1-866-436-7332. A Ford Recall team member will be happy to assist you.

As always, thank you for being a Ford Owner.
